Phonics: letter sound wh. Can you say, read and write the word when. Can you put the word when into a sentence?

When is a tricky word, so play hide and seek with the word hidden around the house on post it notes or scraps of paper.

Maths: We are learning about time this week. To start us off, can you make a clock face, writing the numbers on in the correct place. Then work out some O’clock times together, just like in our Maths Meetings sessions, remember, If the big hand is at the top, it is something O’clock! Take it it turns to make a time and tell the time.

Japan: today can you find out what the weather is like in Japan? Can you draw a picture to show the weather in Japan and compare it to where you live?
