Oak Class Monday 13th July
I hope you have all enjoyed the lovely weather this weekend! We have some fun things to do this week including a sports day, round up about Mexico and thinking about things that we are good at!
Phonics: Use the letters l and p to make the end blend of lp. Make the words help, yelp, kelp. Say the words, sound them out, write them down and read them out. Now use the words in a sentence. Use your neatest handwriting to write the sentence down.
Maths: This week we are thinking about time. We have worked hard during our Maths Meetings this year to tell the time, so today, could you have a go at making your own clock and use it to tell the time. Work on o’clock and half past today, just to remind yourself!
Literacy: Can you draw a picture of yourself. What do you look like? Add your name to the picture. You could send this to Miss Gannon so she will know what you look like!
Topic: Mexico. Over the next few days, I would like you to look back over all the things you have made, painted, written and found out about Mexico. You could make a poster, a leaflet or brochure about Mexico and bring it to school in September. It would be great to see what you have been learning about!
Have a great day Oak Class!
