We are a popular school in the heart of Norfolk, which has grown hugely in numbers over the last few years. After 20 year working at Mundford our lovely Head of School will be leaving in January to work with practioners supporting vulnerable children. We are therefore looking for a new Head of School to join our amazing team. The successful candidate will be sharing responsibility for our Year 5 class and will teach two days a week. The other three days will be dedicated to management and subject leadership time. As such, this role requires the candidate to be an essential part of our Federation’s Senior Leadership Team, driving improvement in both schools. They will report directly to the Executive Head and deputise in the Executive Head’s absence, meaning they will be responsible for the day to day running of the school and line managing staff.

We have been part of the Churchside Federation with Gooderstone CE Primary Academy since 2015 within The Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust (DNEAT). This gives our staff the benefits of having lots of colleagues to work with in planning, training and moderating but also the bonus of working within a one form entry school with much to celebrate!
The successful candidate will:

- Be able to lead whole school improvement with demonstrable impact; using data to help inform next steps, monitor lessons/books and provide timely constructive feedback.
- Be an excellent teacher who is passionate about teaching.
