Ethos Committee
The Churchside Federation Ethos Committee is made up of children and adults (staff and governors) who work together to promote the school values. Our committee meet each half term to discuss the school’s values and ethos, and explore the values of the Federation (Honesty, Kindness and Respect). The Ethos Committee share their experiences with the whole school during assemblies as well as seeking ways to support our local community.

Our School Lending Library
The ethos committee at Mundford have worked hard to establish a lending library for books at our school. With donations from parents and members of the community, they have upcycled an old hutch into a lending library. The top section is full of children’s books, and the bottom section has books for grown ups. They also approached the parish council, who kindly donated the funds to help us purchase a reading bench to sit alongside the lending library.
Our Community Foodbank
Thank you for all your kind harvest festival donations. The Collective Worship and Ethos Committee ambassadors have used these donations to start a school based food bank for the community. The food bank will be outside school, between 8am and 4.30pm Mondays to Fridays during term time, and is available for everyone within our school community and the wider village.
