We use cookies on the Churchside website for collecting website usage data (via jetpack, see https://jetpack.com/support/cookies/) Any information we collect via these cookies is used anonymously simply to improve and enhance your experience of our website. We will not use the information to identify individuals or share it with anyone else.

Data Protection
Under the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 , we have a legal duty to protect any personally identifiable information we collect from you. We do not pass on your details to any third party unless you give us permission or if either academy is legally obliged to do so. Our website contains a copy of the Churchside Data Protection Policy.
Data Protection Officer
Churchside appoints a Data Protection Officer who coordinates Data Protection across the Trust and can be contacted by writing to Sharon Money (DPO), Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust, 107 Easton House, Dereham Road, Easton, Norfolk NR9 5ES or by telephoning 01603 882329.
What information do we collect?
If you are a user with general public and anonymous access the Churchside website does not store or capture personal information, but merely logs the user’s IP address that is automatically recognised by the web server. The IP address is considered personal information so it will not be used for profiling or marketing purposes without gaining informed consent from you.
We do not use cookies for collecting user information and we will not collect any information about you except that required for system administration of our web server.
We collect information from visitors to the Churchside website in the following way:

Contacting us
You can ask for information or request services in 5 ways: by requests and questions sent by an online form, e-mail, phone, post or in person. You can make comments and give us your feedback in the same way.
If you send an e-mail or complete a form on the website asking for information or a service, or sending a comment that requires a response, it will be passed to the appropriate department who will respond to you. We do not pass on your details to any third party unless you give us permission or if the Trust is legally obliged to do so.
Storage Limitation
After we have replied to you, we will keep a record of your message for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data is processed. Therefore, unless the personal data contained in the message is being processed solely for archiving purposes in the public interest (e.g. safeguarding a child or a health and safety issue) the message will be deleted immediately upon the resolution of your enquiry or request for information.
Site usage information – Log files
Log files allow the owners of a website to record visitors’ use of the site and put together log file information in order to make changes to the layout of the site and to the information in it, based on the way that visitors move around it. Log files do not contain any personal information or information about which other sites you have visited. Currently the Churchside website does not use log files.
What happens when I click on a link to another site?
The Churchside website contains links to other academy websites and external organisations. This privacy policy applies only to our site, so you should always take care when you are moving to another site and read the privacy statement of any site, which collects personal information. Churchside accepts no responsibility or liability for these sites.
