Phonics – we are learning to use the ‘o-e’ sound (like in spoke, notebook) by writing our own sentences with ‘o-e’ words.
Spellings – adding -ing to the end of verbs, and then using the words correctly in a sentence (e.g. I was brushing my teeth).
Maths – we are looking at finding a quarter of an object, shape or number.
English – we are writing a letter to Wild (the main character from our story) to tell her about what it is like to live in a village/town.
Science – draw and write about the weather today. How would you describe it? What is the temperature? What do you need to wear?
P4C – discuss and debate, would you rather live in a forest or a town? Why? Why not?
Additional – read school book, practise 4 x tables, play ‘Bond Bubbles’ on Purple Mash (maths section).
Thank you, Mrs Keeler
